Desired Qualifications:
- Current and active North Carolina Physical Therapy License (documentation will be required)
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly valued
- Skilled in evaluating students, developing treatment plans, and effective intervention delivery
- Proven ability to work as part of multidisciplinary teams, including with teachers and families
- Dedicated to providing services in person on campus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy aligned with IEP goals for approximately three students
- Assess student needs, contribute to the creation of personalized goals, and tailor interventions appropriately
- Maintain up-to-date progress notes, compliance records, and all required student documentation
- Collaborate regularly with educators, special education personnel, and related service providers
- Participate actively in team meetings, especially those related to student IEPs
- Support student independence, access, and safe participation within the school environment
- Adapt therapy interventions in response to student progress
- Utilize ECATS and Infinite Campus for all aspects of reporting and communication
