Step into a rewarding opportunity providing focused support to young learners as an on-site Physical Therapist for a part-time, contract role serving PreK–2 students during the upcoming school year. Make a meaningful impact by working directly with a small caseload to help children develop essential motor and mobility skills in a collaborative, educational setting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current and active North Carolina Physical Therapy License (documentation will be required)
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly valued
  • Skilled in evaluating students, developing treatment plans, and effective intervention delivery
  • Proven ability to work as part of multidisciplinary teams, including with teachers and families
  • Dedicated to providing services in person on campus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized physical therapy aligned with IEP goals for approximately three students
  • Assess student needs, contribute to the creation of personalized goals, and tailor interventions appropriately
  • Maintain up-to-date progress notes, compliance records, and all required student documentation
  • Collaborate regularly with educators, special education personnel, and related service providers
  • Participate actively in team meetings, especially those related to student IEPs
  • Support student independence, access, and safe participation within the school environment
  • Adapt therapy interventions in response to student progress
  • Utilize ECATS and Infinite Campus for all aspects of reporting and communication
