An exciting contract opportunity awaits for a skilled Physical Therapist ready to support students in a supportive school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Located near the vibrant Lexington Park area, this part-time role offers meaningful work within a collaborative team.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Provide physical therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload, supporting students’ movement, mobility, and participation within the educational environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Conduct assessments, coordinate with multidisciplinary professionals, and regularly communicate progress to educators, families, and staff
- Collaborate to create inclusive solutions, adapt activities, and foster an accessible learning atmosphere for all students
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Maryland state requirements
Ideal background and qualifications include:
- Hold a valid Physical Therapy license in Maryland
- Experience working with school-aged children or within pediatric/school-based settings is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a part-time schedule (20-25 hours per week)
- Commitment from August 10th, 2026, through June 17th, 2027
