School Physical Therapist | Littleton, North Carolina

Make a meaningful impact by supporting K-12 students through vital physical therapy services in a flexible, contract-based position. This opportunity involves providing therapy both virtually and onsite, offering a dynamic mix of direct intervention, consultation, and collaboration with educational teams.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Previous school-based PT experience preferred
• Experience providing both onsite and virtual (VOCO) services is a plus
• Familiarity with K-12 caseloads and IEP processes
• Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
• Ability to manage a part-time schedule of 3–5 hours per week

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ therapy needs
• Deliver direct therapy sessions to students, maintaining a 1:0.5 direct-to-indirect service ratio per DPI guidelines
• Provide consultative support to educators and families
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams, including participation in IEP meetings
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all services rendered
• Support students in accessing their educational environment safely and effectively
