A K-12 school in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist to support student healthcare needs during the upcoming school year under a contract position. This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant with experience in healthcare or school settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to students in a school environment
  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in meetings related to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as required

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with valid credentials
  • Experience working in healthcare or K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and staff
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently in a part-time capacity
