Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly desirable
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement creative, student-centered therapy plans
- Team player with a positive attitude and flexible approach to daily challenges
- Familiarity with IEP process and collaboration with multidisciplinary school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students, individually and in groups
- Evaluate student needs and create individualized treatment goals
- Document progress and collaborate with educational staff and families to support student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and progress updates
- Deliver adaptive strategies and training for teachers and paraprofessionals as needed
