Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy documentation
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassion, patience, and commitment to working with diverse student populations
• Ability to organize a caseload and incorporate therapy into the school day

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students identified for physical therapy services and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy—both one-on-one and small group sessions—to enhance motor skills and access to the curriculum
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Document assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise to set appropriate goals and strategies for each student
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure a holistic approach to student progress
• Provide education and training to staff and parents on strategies and equipment use
