Preferred Qualifications:
- Active and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ physical needs and develop appropriate therapy goals
- Design and implement interventions in coordination with educational staff for maximum student benefit
- Document student progress and maintain detailed therapy records in alignment with school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and updates on student performance
- Engage with families to support carryover of skills from school to home
- Educate staff and students on movement, safety, and positioning recommendations
