School-Based Physical Therapist - Luling, LA

Looking to make a positive impact in education and support student success? This contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled Physical Therapist excited to work in a vibrant school setting and partner with dedicated educators, students, and families.

This position offers a rewarding itinerant caseload, providing supportive PT services to approximately 35 students across all grade levels. You’ll enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, working onsite from 8AM to 4PM, delivering interventions, collaborating with school staff, and facilitating each student’s increased independence and participation.

Ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist state license (required)
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between various school sites as needed
• Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering physical therapy interventions for a diverse school caseload
• Consulting with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
• Documenting and tracking student progress in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Recommending adaptations to enhance student participation and accessibility
• Remaining current on best practices and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
