Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license required

  • Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and related documentation
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working across K-12 grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy interventions, tracking student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
  • Educate staff and parents on strategies to enhance students’ physical abilities and access to learning environments
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in line with state and district standards
