Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Experience providing PT in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and related documentation
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working across K-12 grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy interventions, tracking student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
- Educate staff and parents on strategies to enhance students’ physical abilities and access to learning environments
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in line with state and district standards
