School-Based Physical Therapist - Malaga, NM

What we’re looking for:

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist
• Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Proficiency with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy methods for students with diverse needs
• Passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive environment

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs
• Develop individualized therapy plans in alignment with educational goals
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students as specified in IEPs
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including teachers, administrators, and families
• Educate staff and caregivers on ways to integrate therapeutic strategies into the school day
