Key Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
- Creative, flexible approach to problem-solving and adapting interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans and goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists for integrated care
- Maintain accurate documentation on progress, attendance, and compliance reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights to the team
- Provide resources and training to staff and caregivers to facilitate carry-over of therapeutic strategies
