Physical Therapist - School Setting in Mansfield, TX

A rewarding full-time contract opportunity is open for an experienced Physical Therapist interested in working onsite with K-12 students. This position is designed for a dedicated professional ready to support a diverse student population and collaborate with educators and families to maximize student potential. The assignment spans the 2026-2027 academic year, offering a steady Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license issued by ECPTOTE
• Prior experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is highly valued
• Able to adapt services across a wide range of grade levels (K-12)
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Strong commitment to promoting students’ independence within the school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students based on IEP or 504 plan requirements
• Develop individualized treatment plans addressing fine and gross motor skills, mobility, and access needs
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and service logs in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise for student evaluations
• Educate and collaborate with staff and families to ensure strategies are implemented across school settings
• Flexibility to manage a caseload of 35–50 students, adjusting intensity of services as needed
