This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapist to provide essential support in a school setting located in Marietta, GA, approximately 15-25 minutes from Atlanta. The role is a contract position beginning ASAP through May 21, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The caseload ranges from 25 to 35 students across PreK through 12th grades, presenting a rewarding environment to make a meaningful impact on the growth and development of diverse student populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students from PreK-12th grade within the school system
  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatments as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license with ability to work within school-based settings
  • Preferred experience in pediatric physical therapy and/or school-based therapy environments
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones and therapeutic interventions for school-age children
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 25-35 students effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

  • Position based in Marietta, GA, with schools located close to Tucker, GA in Dekalb County
  • Approximately 15-25 minutes from Atlanta, GA
  • Full-time contract role, 40 hours per week
  • Contract period from ASAP through May 21, 2026
