Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license and minimum master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
  • At least 10 years of experience practicing as a physical therapist, with a strong foundation in pediatric care.
  • Proven success delivering therapy within a school environment.
  • Skilled in utilizing the EDPlan SC IEP system for evaluation, documentation, and compliance.
  • Comfort with performing comprehensive evaluations, completing reevaluations, and compiling accurate IEP paperwork.
  • Clear, compassionate communication and collaboration abilities for effective participation in IEP meetings.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students, tailored to individual needs and educational goals.
  • Complete thorough evaluations and reevaluations, documenting progress and adjusting services as necessary.
  • Accurately prepare, maintain, and submit required IEP paperwork to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings with school teams and families, offering professional insights and fostering supportive solutions.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to deliver exceptional outcomes for your students.
