Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of developing and implementing IEP goals
  • Skilled in comprehensive report writing and detailed documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Adaptable and collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments of students as required
  • Develop, update, and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student on your caseload
  • Provide direct physical therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to meet specific student needs
  • Document sessions and progress, writing clear, insightful reports for ongoing team use
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and families to coordinate care and share strategies
  • Attend IEP meetings, offering your expertise to support holistic student development
