Physical Therapist - School Setting in Martinsburg, WV

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• Competence in supervising and providing guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
• Ability to manage a caseload across multiple school sites within the district
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized therapy plans for K-12 students
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions to support student mobility and motor skill development
• Supervise and mentor a PTA, ensuring high standards of care and effective service delivery
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with educators and school teams to promote student success in both academic and physical activities
• Travel among assigned schools as part of a district-wide caseload
