Key Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Washington State
- Experience or strong interest in working in school settings
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans for students PreK-12
- Skilled in consultation and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ motor and functional needs within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy goals as part of IEP teams
- Provide direct and consultative PT services to students in group and individual sessions
- Support student participation in classroom activities, physical education, and school routines
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing staff collaboration
