You'll work collaboratively with educators and families to provide students with the movement strategies and support they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Washington State
  • Experience or strong interest in working in school settings
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans for students PreK-12
  • Skilled in consultation and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ motor and functional needs within the school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy goals as part of IEP teams
  • Provide direct and consultative PT services to students in group and individual sessions
  • Support student participation in classroom activities, physical education, and school routines
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing staff collaboration
