Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with children and adolescents across all age groups
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and other related service providers
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adapt therapeutic approaches based on student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess students’ motor skills, mobility, and functional capabilities within the school context
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans, documenting progress and adapting goals as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success in the classroom and school activities
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress notes
