School-Based Physical Therapist - Mattawan, MI

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students from birth to 18 years old near Mattawan, MI. You will collaborate with a vibrant educational team to enhance mobility, function, and participation in academic settings. This contract position runs through June 2027, offering scheduling flexibility of either four or five days per week, with each day comprising 7.5 hours.

In this role, you’ll work with a diverse caseload of 35-40 students. Your ability to provide tailored interventions and adapt your expertise to different age groups—birth to age 3, as well as preschoolers through high school students—will help each individual reach their highest potential. If you have a particular specialty, our team can discuss aligning your assignments to best utilize your skills.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Michigan
• Previous pediatric and/or school-based PT experience preferred
• Strong assessment, planning, and communication abilities
• Understanding of IEP process and goals
• Flexibility to serve students across wide age range; specialization can be accommodated

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct physical therapy services in accordance with each student's IEP
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Monitor progress, document results, and adjust interventions as needed
• Support accessibility and participation for all students in the school environment
