Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Physical Therapist licensure for the state
- Prior experience providing PT services within school settings highly encouraged
- Demonstrated understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, staff, families)
- Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative PT services to support student success and independence
- Work closely with faculty and families to integrate therapy into classroom routines
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports
- Uphold compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
