School-Based Physical Therapist - Mchenry, IL

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in Illinois (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates with relevant pediatric fieldwork encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of IEPs and ability to create and implement treatment plans for students with diverse physical needs
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists
• Comfortable supporting students across a variety of grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, according to IEP requirements
• Conduct evaluations, document progress, and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to adapt instructional environments and promote effective access to the curriculum
• Provide consultative support and training for staff to facilitate carryover of interventions in classroom settings
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
