School-Based Physical Therapist - Mechanicsburg, PA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist licensure required
• Experience working in a K–12 school setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEPs and experience developing individualized treatment plans
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with educators, parents, and other therapists
• Ability to manage a flexible caseload across various grade levels and school environments
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, documentation, and measurable progress tracking

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs and goals
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and the existing PT to ensure comprehensive student care
• Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary IEP meetings
• Travel between school sites as needed within the district
• Keep accurate records of evaluations, plans of care, progress notes, and parent communications
• Educate staff and families on therapy techniques and support strategies
