Physical Therapist - School Setting in Mechanicsville, MD

This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference by providing Physical Therapy services within a school community. Two openings are available: one serving Early Intervention on an 11-month schedule, and another supporting K-12 students. Your skills will support children’s functional mobility and participation in their educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to collaborative, student-focused therapy
• Capability to adapt interventions for diverse age groups (Early Intervention and K-12 populations)

Role Highlights:

• Provide individualized and group Physical Therapy sessions for students aged birth to 21
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other team members to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain documentation and track progress in accordance with compliance standards
• Participate in team meetings and relevant professional development
