Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland Physical Therapy (PT) license required
  • Previous experience providing physical therapy in school settings is preferred
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with school staff, students, and families
  • Ability to assess, design, and implement intervention plans for a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Commitment to adhering to ethical and professional standards in all interactions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ mobility, strength, and functional abilities to create individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct intervention services to a varied K-12 caseload, focusing on improving participation and independence
  • Consult with educators, families, and other therapists to promote optimal learning environments
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and document services according to district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative goal setting for student success
