Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland Physical Therapy (PT) license required
- Previous experience providing physical therapy in school settings is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with school staff, students, and families
- Ability to assess, design, and implement intervention plans for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Commitment to adhering to ethical and professional standards in all interactions
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ mobility, strength, and functional abilities to create individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct intervention services to a varied K-12 caseload, focusing on improving participation and independence
- Consult with educators, families, and other therapists to promote optimal learning environments
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and document services according to district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative goal setting for student success
