School-Based Physical Therapist - Media, Pennsylvania

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic K-12 environment near Media, PA. This full-time, onsite position offers 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 10, 2027. With a small caseload and minimal incidental classroom responsibilities, you’ll have the chance to focus your expertise and make significant, meaningful impact with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID).

Qualifications:

• Active PA license/certification in Physical Therapy is required
• Proven experience in school-based PT roles
• Previous work with K-12 students, preferably with ASD and ID populations
• Comfortable practicing in urban educational settings
• Willingness to secure Pennsylvania clearances as needed
• Open to a Zoom interview and ready to disclose specific district details upon application

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for a diverse caseload
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance standards
• Foster student independence and participation across educational activities
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring
