Bring your expertise and passion for helping young students thrive as a part-time Physical Therapist in a dynamic school environment near Melrose Park, IL! You’ll have the opportunity to support elementary-age students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, working closely with educators and families to help children reach their maximum potential.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with credentials valid in Illinois
  • Experience with pediatric populations, specifically in school or healthcare settings
  • Comfort and familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to adapt and provide creative, student-centered interventions
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment programs for elementary students
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement therapy within the school setting
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes as required
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
  • Adjust interventions as necessary based on ongoing evaluation of student needs
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all therapy sessions
