Physical Therapist - School Setting in Memphis, TN

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
• Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to professional development and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based PT services tailored to each student’s IEP
• Develop and implement individual treatment interventions in a school setting
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote optimal student engagement and progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult with faculty and staff to provide recommendations on accessibility, adaptive equipment, and modifications
