Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to professional development and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based PT services tailored to each student’s IEP
- Develop and implement individual treatment interventions in a school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote optimal student engagement and progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with faculty and staff to provide recommendations on accessibility, adaptive equipment, and modifications
