Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid Texas Physical Therapist license required
- Recent fingerprint clearance through TEA or ability to complete before start date
- School-based experience strongly preferred, particularly with K-12 populations
- Ability to provide references from your two most recent supervisors
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative approach
- Willingness to travel between assigned schools in the area
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district policies
- Adjust therapy approaches to best meet each student’s needs in a school setting
- Support the safe and successful participation of each student in their educational environment
This contract spans 37.5 hours per week and offers a consistent schedule from November to February, providing valuable experience and professional growth in a supportive atmosphere.
