School-Based Physical Therapist - Methuen, Massachusetts

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active Physical Therapist (PT) license for Massachusetts
• Possess or be willing to obtain additional required Massachusetts educational certifications
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
• Demonstrated ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students with varying needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEPs and educational goals
• Conduct assessments, maintain thorough documentation, and monitor progress over time
• Collaborate closely with teachers, IEP teams, and families to ensure coordinated support
• Educate staff and caregivers in safe practices and relevant activities for students’ physical abilities
• Comply with district, state, and federal requirements for record-keeping and therapy delivery
