Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold a valid PT license, or eligibility to obtain one, in Delaware.
• Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is highly valued.
• Strong communication abilities to partner effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and goal setting for students with diverse needs.
• Ability to adapt therapy plans for various age groups and functional abilities.
• Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to determine students’ motor and functional needs within the educational environment.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support each student’s progress and participation.
• Document and report on therapy sessions, student progress, and compliance with relevant policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and ongoing professional development.
• Provide guidance to educational staff on safe positioning, mobility, and adaptive equipment.
