Step into an enriching contract opportunity, delivering impactful physical therapy services within an engaging school environment. This full-time, onsite position spans from September 8, 2026, through December 18, 2026, and focuses on providing maternity leave coverage for a K–12 caseload. Working as an itinerant therapist, you’ll travel among multiple sites, collaborating with dedicated education professionals and making a meaningful difference for diverse student populations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Physical Therapy license in Oregon
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based physical therapy strongly preferred
  • Comfortable managing an itinerant schedule across multiple school locations
  • Able to provide contact information for your three most recent supervisory references
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible to adapt to dynamic caseloads
  • Strong organizational skills to navigate multiple environments and schedules
  • Not open to telepractice; must be available for onsite services only

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to K–12 students, tailored to IEP goals
  • Evaluate and assess student motor skills and physical needs, tracking progress over time
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to create effective treatment plans
  • Document services, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
  • Consult with educational teams on mobility, equipment, and school access
  • Travel efficiently among assigned school sites within the district
