This onsite physical therapy role offers an impactful blend of direct student support and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. In this itinerant position, you’ll travel between multiple school sites providing crucial mat leave coverage, ensuring continuous, high-quality physical therapy services across the district.
As a valued member of the educational community, you’ll work with students from kindergarten through high school, helping each reach their highest level of physical function and independence. This is a full-time assignment at 37.5 hours per week, running from September 8, 2026, through December 18, 2026.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active and current Physical Therapy license/certification in Oregon
- Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably in school settings
- Ability to work effectively across multiple campuses as an itinerant provider
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Willingness and capacity to work onsite (onsite only; not open to virtual work)
- Must provide contact information for three most recent supervisor references as part of the application process
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering direct physical therapy services to K-12 students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assessing and documenting student needs, progress, and therapy outcomes
- Consulting with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student access and participation
- Adapting interventions and strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Traveling between assigned school sites for comprehensive student coverage
