Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active state license as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Understanding of pediatric PT and IEP-driven therapy
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students in line with educational goals
- Deliver direct PT services according to IEP requirements
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Educate and guide school staff and families on mobility and adaptive strategies
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy services
