This flexible, itinerant position will have you working across school sites in the Moreno Valley area, requiring adaptability and a willingness to travel between locations as needed. The role primarily aligns with Extended School Year (ESY) programming—specific hours will be finalized upon assignment.
You’ll play a vital part by identifying summer caseloads, addressing make-up service minutes from the 2024-2026 school years, and at times, supervising a Physical Therapist Assistant. Experience serving California school-aged populations is essential, and bilingual Spanish proficiency is a valued asset, helping strengthen communication and outreach.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in California
- Previous experience in California educational settings
- Knowledge of school-based therapy practices and compliance
- Flexibility to rotate between sites and adapt to changing schedules
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual Spanish ability highly preferred
- Experience supervising PTA staff is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and deliver services for assigned students
- Identify and manage caseloads for both standard and ESY terms
- Ensure timely completion of make-up minutes per student IEP requirements
- Travel between school sites as part of itinerant assignment
- Potentially supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants
