Physical Therapist - School Setting in Mount Lemmon, AZ

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Arizona
• Previous experience delivering physical therapy services in school settings or to pediatric populations is strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in documentation, progress monitoring, and developing treatment plans
• Adaptable and organized, able to balance a busy caseload
• Dedication to promoting student independence and academic participation

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy sessions, supporting students’ motor skills, mobility, and functional movement in classroom and school environments
• Document treatment sessions and ongoing student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals within school routines
• Attend IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and contribute to goal-setting for student success
• Educate staff and families on techniques, equipment, and strategies that foster student growth
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere for all learners
