Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist with extensive expertise to provide exceptional therapy services in a school-based contract position near Latta, SC. This role is perfect for a seasoned PT who thrives in pediatric environments and appreciates a structured, part-time schedule.

You’ll deliver high-quality direct therapy services just one day per week, supporting students’ success and contributing meaningfully to their educational journey.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience practicing as a Physical Therapist
  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or higher required
  • Proven experience working with pediatric populations
  • Strong background in school-based therapy settings
  • Proficiency in using the EDPlan SC IEP program
  • Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and collaborating within educational teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students, with a commitment of approximately 27 hours monthly
  • Conduct initial evaluations and timely reevaluations as needed
  • Complete all required IEP documentation and paperwork accurately
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions based on student needs
  • Communicate clearly with teachers, staff, and families about therapy goals and progress
