Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist with extensive expertise to provide exceptional therapy services in a school-based contract position near Latta, SC. This role is perfect for a seasoned PT who thrives in pediatric environments and appreciates a structured, part-time schedule.
You’ll deliver high-quality direct therapy services just one day per week, supporting students’ success and contributing meaningfully to their educational journey.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience practicing as a Physical Therapist
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or higher required
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations
- Strong background in school-based therapy settings
- Proficiency in using the EDPlan SC IEP program
- Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and collaborating within educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students, with a commitment of approximately 27 hours monthly
- Conduct initial evaluations and timely reevaluations as needed
- Complete all required IEP documentation and paperwork accurately
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions based on student needs
- Communicate clearly with teachers, staff, and families about therapy goals and progress
