Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students in a dynamic school environment near Naperville, IL! This position offers the chance to make a significant impact as a Physical Therapist. You’ll collaborate with educational staff and families to foster student success, providing support both in-person and to a select group of homebound students. With a manageable caseload of approximately 20 students, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on individualized treatment plans and interventions, supporting each child’s unique needs.

This assignment is scheduled for 2 days per week, totaling 14 hours, with a strong possibility of extension into the summer session—an excellent path for continuity and relationship-building. Immediate start available!

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience in educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a small, diverse caseload, including homebound students
  • Flexible, solution-driven, and organized

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative services as designated by IEPs
  • Monitor student progress and provide ongoing evaluation
  • Educate and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
  • Document services and maintain compliance with school district standards
  • Travel to homebound students as needed
