Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy licensure in Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience within a school environment is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
• Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, collaborating with IEP teams
• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students PreK–12 as assigned
• Track progress, document services provided, and adjust treatment plans as required
• Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and recommendations
• Educate school staff and families on strategies and activities to support students’ motor skills
