As part of this role, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other allied health professionals to support students in reaching their highest potential. You’ll provide direct therapy, develop individualized treatment plans, and help ensure compliance with IDEA and Section 504 guidelines.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Tennessee Physical Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to candidates with a passion for pediatrics
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students, supporting their mobility, access, and participation in school activities
  • Assess students’ physical development and craft Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
  • Contribute to ongoing advocacy for students’ physical and educational growth
