What you bring:
- Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with IEP development, goal setting, and documentation requirements
- Ability to travel between school locations as part of a district-wide team
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fluid environment
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, caregivers, and other service providers
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver quality physical therapy services to students with diverse needs across the district
- Conduct student assessments, develop targeted treatment plans, and maintain thorough progress records
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and collaborate to ensure student success
- Provide consultation and support to teaching staff regarding equipment and classroom strategies
- Adapt therapy methods to fit each school’s unique environment while tracking student outcomes
