Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Connecticut
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and educational documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students across various grade levels
• Assess students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support students’ functional mobility and participation in school activities
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes according to school and legal standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on adaptive equipment and strategies
• Ensure a positive, engaging atmosphere that fosters student participation and progress
