We’re searching for an enthusiastic, fully licensed Physical Therapist ready to embrace a full-time contract role through mid-October. You’ll work across two welcoming locations, collaborating with dedicated professionals and supporting students in achieving their mobility and developmental goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Physical Therapist license in Connecticut
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or working with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with educators and families
- Ability to travel between two assigned school sites
- Flexible, positive attitude with dedication to student-centered care
- Proficient with IEP documentation and progress reporting (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions to improve student mobility and performance
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service professionals to support student progress
- Document assessments, treatment sessions, and progress in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and participate in student support planning
- Travel between two schools as part of your weekly schedule
