School-Based Physical Therapist - New Haven, Connecticut

We’re searching for an enthusiastic, fully licensed Physical Therapist ready to embrace a full-time contract role through mid-October. You’ll work across two welcoming locations, collaborating with dedicated professionals and supporting students in achieving their mobility and developmental goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Physical Therapist license in Connecticut
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or working with pediatric populations is highly valued
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with educators and families
• Ability to travel between two assigned school sites
• Flexible, positive attitude with dedication to student-centered care
• Proficient with IEP documentation and progress reporting (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students according to IEP goals
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions to improve student mobility and performance
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service professionals to support student progress
• Document assessments, treatment sessions, and progress in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and participate in student support planning
• Travel between two schools as part of your weekly schedule
