Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Delaware Physical Therapist license required
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Willingness to provide physical therapy onsite and assist homebound students
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads throughout the academic year
- Submission of an updated resume is required for presentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy to students within a school building
- Provide tailored services to medically homebound students, supporting their academic participation and mobility needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student care
- Travel within the district as needed to support a fluctuating caseload
This rewarding position spans the 2026-2027 school year, starting August 25, 2026, and concluding June 8, 2027. With a weekly commitment of up to 37.5 hours (Monday through Friday), you’ll enjoy the stability and predictability of a school calendar while impacting students’ educational journeys.
