Schedule: Enjoy a part-time workload—three days a week, six hours per day—giving you the flexibility you value. The assignment runs from September 8, 2026, through either February 19 or 28, 2027.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Previous experience in school or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of IEPs and school-based therapy best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Skilled in adapting therapy to meet the needs of a diverse K-12 student population.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver evidence-based physical therapy to K-12 students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and interventions.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with educational and healthcare standards.
- Support classroom staff in ensuring accessibility and safety for students.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and case discussions as needed.
