Desired Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
  • Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of pediatric therapy approaches and best practices
  • Familiarity with IEPs and special education programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with students, families, and staff
  • Efficient time-management and adaptability within a school environment
  • Ability to implement interventions, document progress, and work collaboratively with other educators

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Support students in achieving their motor goals and accessing the educational environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive care
  • Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate and provide resources to staff and families about physical therapy supports
