Key Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapist license or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Experience working in school settings or with students (elementary/middle preferred)
- Strong understanding of IEPs and providing mandated services
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and re-evaluations
- Comfortable participating in CSE meetings and collaborating with other educational specialists
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students with mandated IEP requirements
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to develop and adjust therapy plans
- Attend and contribute to CSE meetings with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide support and guidance to teachers and parents regarding student needs
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of service provision and progress
