Looking for an exciting contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist? Step into a rewarding role providing essential PT services at the elementary and middle school level, covering a leave from October 16, 2026, through February 5, 2027. Located near Newburgh, NY, this position offers the flexibility of working three days a week, with hours from 8:30am to 3pm.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Physical Therapist license or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
  • Experience working in school settings or with students (elementary/middle preferred)
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and providing mandated services
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Comfortable participating in CSE meetings and collaborating with other educational specialists

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students with mandated IEP requirements
  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to develop and adjust therapy plans
  • Attend and contribute to CSE meetings with interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide support and guidance to teachers and parents regarding student needs
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of service provision and progress
