Physical Therapist - School Setting in Norristown, PA

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide essential support within a dynamic school environment serving grades K-8. This part-time position is based near Norristown, PA, with a focus on delivering high-quality compensatory services to a dedicated caseload.

What You'll Do:

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring compensatory physical therapy services
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions to a caseload of 7 students, ensuring integration into the educational setting
• Collaborate closely with educators, special education staff, and families to support student progress and participation
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school and district policies
• Provide consultative support and training for teachers and classroom aides to facilitate generalization of therapeutic strategies
• Monitor and adjust interventions to reflect students’ evolving needs and school goals

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and current Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania
• Experience in school-based PT settings, especially with pediatric/elementary populations
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plan (IEP) processes and special education law
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capability to manage a part-time schedule of 30 hours per week during standard school hours (8:30 AM – 2:30 PM)
