School-Based Physical Therapist - North East, Maryland

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state license for Physical Therapy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assess student motor skills, strengths, and areas for growth
• Develop and deliver individualized or group therapy sessions that align with educational goals
• Collaborate with educators and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Provide input on adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and assistive technology
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning for student success
• Offer education and resources to families and school staff to maximize carryover and impact
