School-Based Physical Therapist - North Haven, Connecticut

What you bring:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt treatment plans to diverse student needs
• Organizational skills for managing a caseload across multiple sites

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services for students as prescribed in IEPs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs
• Conduct evaluations and document progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Educate and collaborate with school staff and families to support student outcomes
• Travel between two locations (Whitney Academy and Basset Road) as scheduled
• Attend meetings and provide input on student care teams
