Physical Therapist - School Setting in North Haven, CT

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut required
• Experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and other therapists
• Ability to organize and manage a full-time caseload across two school locations
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized care planning
• Flexibility and strong time management, ideally with comfort adapting to varying school routines

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy assessments and interventions for students as outlined in their IEPs
• Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans that target each student’s unique needs
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to educational teams
• Document all services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with district and professional standards
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies into students’ daily activities
• Arrange schedules to efficiently cover both school locations during the week
