Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as a contract Physical Therapist in the vibrant North Hollywood/Calabasas area. Provide essential direct and indirect therapy services, making a real difference in students’ mobility and daily function while collaborating with fellow educators and related service providers. This full-time position spans 30 hours per week and is set to begin as soon as possible, continuing through June 10, 2026.
You’ll enjoy guaranteed hours, ensuring consistent scheduling, and you’ll focus exclusively on your therapy caseload—without being assigned additional district responsibilities like bus duty or parent pickup. Travel therapists relocating for this assignment will be eligible to receive stipends.
Key Qualifications:
- Current California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or working with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to develop and carry out individualized treatment plans
- Skilled in working effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver PT assessments and interventions according to student IEPs
- Provide direct and consultative services to K-12 students across multiple sites
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to foster student progress
- Complete accurate assessment reports and maintain timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member
