Physical Therapist - School Setting in North Las Vegas, NV

This contract opportunity allows you to make a direct impact, providing dedicated therapies to young learners in an educational setting. With a consistent weekly schedule totaling 12 hours, you’ll primarily cover about 10 hours at one campus and 1-2 hours at another, offering service flexibility and ongoing variety each week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is highly valued
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
• Familiarity with IEP processes and the ability to document progress
• Current Nevada state licensure and compliance with all regulatory standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted PT services to K-12 students as defined by individual education plans
• Develop therapeutic activities tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the educational environment
• Maintain accurate treatment records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Provide consultation and support to school staff, assisting with adaptive strategies for students
