Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist (ECPTOTE)
- Experience working in a school setting or pediatric rehabilitation preferred
- Ability to manage and adjust to a varied caseload in grades K–12
- Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering student independence, access, and participation in school activities
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students based on individual needs and IEP goals
- Assess gross motor skills, mobility equipment, and school environment for accessibility
- Develop and implement treatment plans; document progress and maintain compliance with state/federal requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide training and recommendations to staff on adaptive equipment and school-based mobility
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to student program development
