Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and mobility within a school setting this summer. This rewarding position combines your expertise in pediatric physical therapy with predictable hours and a focused schedule, allowing you to make a significant impact during the extended school year.

Your assignment will run from July 1 to July 30, with workdays set from Monday to Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.—providing your afternoons and weekends free for summer adventures or downtime.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Connecticut
  • Prior experience providing PT services in school environments
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documenting student progress
  • Comfort collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students in accordance with their individualized education plans
  • Conduct assessments and regularly update goals and progress reports
  • Support students’ physical participation in classroom and extracurricular activities
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to deliver coordinated care
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adherence to established school protocols
  • Participate in team meetings as needed
