Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist license
  • Previous experience as a PT in schools or pediatric setting preferred
  • Understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to help students improve mobility, strength, balance, and motor function
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary assessments and planning
  • Maintain timely and accurate records according to school and legal guidelines
  • Educate school staff and families on physical therapy strategies and accommodations
  • Adapt interventions to accommodate diverse student backgrounds and abilities
